About the Instructor:

Wendy Hills-Longland is a lifelong horticulturist with a deep passion for plants and floral design. Growing up at Kimball Fruit Farm, she cultivated a strong connection to nature, tending to the farm's gardens alongside her family. Wendy’s academic background includes a degree in Plant Science from the University of New Hampshire Thompson School, where she also studied floral design. She further honed her craft at Ritners School of Floral Design in Boston, where she refined her skills in the art of creating beautiful arrangements.

Wendy’s love of horticulture extends beyond design—she enjoys the process of growing and harvesting flowers as much as arranging them. As the former president of the Colonial Garden Club of Hollis, Wendy has been an active member of her local gardening community. She learned the art of wreath-making and kissing balls from the Pepperell Garden Club, where she discovered her creative niche.

Today, Wendy works at Kimball Fruit Farm, where she grows, harvests, and arranges flowers for a variety of occasions, including weddings, events, and projects for the Community Church of Hollis. Wendy’s wreaths and designs are crafted with a personal touch, using flowers and materials from her farm, and she’s eager to share her knowledge and love for wreath-making with others in her upcoming class.
