What’s in season right now?

You can always find out what is seasonally available using our Seasonal Calendar. If there’s a particular product you’re looking for, please give us a call or send us an email at info@kimball.farm to gain a more specific idea of when that will be available.

When are you open?

Our farmstand is open seasonally from Mid Spring (late April/early May) to the day before Thanksgiving. We are open 9-6 in the spring and fall. In the summer we’re open 9-7. Please check our website and social media for specific dates of our season opening and seasonal hours and activities.

Do you sell plants?

Yes! We sell our own vegetable, tomato, herb, and flower starts in 4-inch pots, 4-packs, 6-packs, local edible flower plants in 6-packs, and a variety of specialty mixes at our farm stand and farmers markets late May thru mid-June. Do you have animals on the farm?

We are strictly a fruit and vegetable farm; we do not raise livestock Due to Massachusetts agricultural regulations, we cannot allow our visitors to bring any pets, except service animals, on our farm.

Are you organic?

We are not a Certified Organic farm; we are an IPM (Integrated Pest Management) farm, which utilizes “a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health, and environmental risks.” (7 U.S.C. § 136r).  In layman's terms, IPM is a method of utilizing multiple pest control tools and methods in a way that is beneficial to the farmer, the farm's customers and neighbors, and the farm's local ecosystem.  This effect is most evident at Kimballs in the fact that we have naturally occurring beneficial insects and pollinators - we have never needed to introduce bees as many orchards do. To learn more about our conscientious approach to farming and pest management, visit our IPM Informational Page.

Do you still offer a CSA?

As of 2025, we are no longer offering our CSA shares, “Harvest Boxes.” These boxes were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to support our community, and while they have continued to serve a valuable purpose beyond the pandemic, we believe that their time has come to a close.

By removing Harvest Boxes from our offerings, we are better able to streamline our production processes and address staffing demands, ultimately allowing us to improve efficiency and focus on other ways to serve you. We remain committed to meeting the evolving needs of our customers in a changing economy and will be exploring new ways to do so in the future. That said, we still continue to fulfill specialized, bulk, and wholesale orders. If you would ever like to place an order for any of our fruits and veggies to pick up at the farm stand or any of our farmers markets, we are happy to serve you! Just give us a call!

Can I take my class/community group on a field trip to your farm?

Absolutely! We love to host school groups, church and community groups, and specialized outings. From apple & pumpkin picking, to farm tours and hayrides, and everything in between, we are happy to plan a visit for your group that meets your needs and goals. Visit our Field Trips page to send an inquiry to us so we can get started!

How do I place an order?

Please note that orders must be made within  48 hours or more of specified pick up time.

Do you offer hayrides?

Other than what’s included in our planned field trips and other special events, we offer hayrides on a limited basis about a few times a year. Please view our hayride schedule page for more information.

Do you accept SNAP?

Yes! We accept SNAP at our farm stand and farmers markets. If you receive your SNAP benefits through Massachusetts, purchases of our fruits and vegetables are also HIP-elligible (Health Incentive Program). Unfortunately we cannot process Granite State Market Match purchases for our NH customers, but we can accept SNAP benefits administered to recipients from any state.

Do you provide discounts to Senior Citizen customers?

Yes! Every Tuesday is Senior discount day at our farm stand. Seniors can receive 10% off their purchases every Tuesday.

This is good! But I have feedback...
