PYO at Kimballs

At Kimball Fruit Farm you and your family can pick your own strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, apples, pumpkins, and flowers.  We are located on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire boarder - less than an hour drive from Boston MA, Worcester, MA and Concord, NH and around half an hour from Fitchburg, MA, Lowell, MA and Manchester, NH.

New Federal Regulations Regarding Pets

Unfortunately, after about three decades of welcoming the four-legged members of your families, new Federal health and safety regulations require us to prohibit dogs, horses, and any other animals from our property.  For information on service animals please email info@kimball.farm or call 978-433-9751 and ask for David, Amanda, or Mike.

School Groups

PYO Seasons

This list is meant to give a rough sense based on our decades of farming. While we work hard to provide the types of produce that we know our customers love, we are at the mercy of our environment. Weather, in addition to other factors, can have a significant effect on availability. Thank you for your patience and commitment to better produce!
 Strawberries: Mid June-Early July (Best picking usually the latter half of June)
 Rasperries: July-Early October 
 Blueberries: July-Early August (Best picking usually Mid-July)
 Flowers: Mid July-Mid September
 Blackberries: August-Early October
 Apples: September-Early November (Most variety between Late Sept-Oct)
 Pumpkins: Late September-October

How to Find Us

The easiest way to find us is to type our address into your GPS: Kimball Fruit Farm 184 Hollis St Pepperell, MA 01463.  If you don't have a GPS or prefer to use written-out directions, however, please feel free to utilize the following:
Directions From Route 3: (From Boston take Rt 93N to Rt 95S to Rt 3N) From Rt 3 North or South take Exit 5 for NH-111W towards Pepperell, MA. Follow Rt 111 W for 7.3 miles (you will enter MA after about 4.5 miles).  At the stop sign, turn left onto Rt 122/Hollis St.  Kimball Fruit Farm is 2.1 miles up Hollis St. on the left.
Directions From Route 2: From Rt 2 East or West take exit 113B and merge onto I-495 N towards Lowell/Lawrence.  On I-495, take Exit 80 for MA-119 W.  At the end of the ramp turn right and follow MA-119 W toward Groton for 9.3 miles.  Turn right onto MA-111 N/River Rd.  Follow MA-111 N for 2.7 miles.  At the traffic circle take the second exit to continue on MA-111 N.  After 0.7 miles, continue straight onto Rt 122/Hollis St. (MA-111 turns to the right).  Kimball Fruit Farm is 2.1 miles up Hollis St on the left.
