2026 letter to our customers

When David and I sat down to reflect on the 2025 season, one word kept coming up: resilience. It was a year that stretched us in many ways, but it also reminded us why we do this work and how much support surrounds this farm.

Late in the season, Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica and deeply affected our H-2A employees, many of whom have been part of this farm for more than 20 years. Seeing our community step in to support them was incredibly moving. Together, we raised over $6,000 that went directly to the workers to help their families rebuild and find stability back home. Their strength, while being 1,700 miles away from their loved ones, was deeply inspiring.

On the farm, we experienced meaningful growth this year. Our management team adapted quickly, finding better ways to support our farm crew, retail staff, and customers. We also saw an uptick in customers at all of our markets, which was both encouraging and energizing. We’re heading into our second season at the Medford winter market with confidence, building on a strong first year and many familiar faces.

This season also marked a small but important step toward sustainability, as, this winter, we began testing compostable packaging for our herbs—an experiment that will help guide future packaging decisions across the farm.

Beyond the fields and markets, our immediate family navigated two non-life-threatening diagnoses this year. While these changes have shaped our daily lives, they have also strengthened our capacity for care, patience, and trust in one another.

As we look ahead, we move forward with optimism rooted in connection—to our team, to each other, and to the community that makes this farm possible. Thank you for showing up, shopping local, and supporting our farm this past year. We’re deeply grateful, and we look forward to growing for you again in the year ahead.

With gratitude,
David and Amanda
